Winter CR Chart

BARBARA WRIGHT
Despite a rocky beginning, Barbara and Howard have grown fairly close. She's taken a bit of a parental role in his life, and he's even managed to open up enough to her to share his fiction writing with her and ask her advice on life and love, something he doesn't do for just anyone. She still has a tendency to hit his sore spots and put him on the defensive, but he's become much more forgiving about these incidents. She and Ian have discussed taking Howard to live with them.

BIGBY WOLF
Howard has only just met Bigby, but they share a fundamental difference in opinion of how much agency people have in their lives. Howard has earmarked his mental file for Bigby because he believes him to be a cigarette addict.

CAINE SOREN
Howard is pants-wettingly scared of Caine ever since seeing what he could do in the FAYZ. The last few months in the FAYZ were spent trying to avoid Caine's attention, as Howard was well aware his business was illegal and that the punishment for crimes of pretty much any sort were 'Penny' or 'death'. He considers Caine a batshit psycho and is a lot happier with him out of his life entirely.

CEDRIC DIGGORY
Even though Howard and Cedric are two incredibly different people, they've become good friends - not that Howard would admit to that. Howard has a crush on Cedric, which was the impetus behind both revealing his sexuality to Zouichi and asking Cedric out; while Cedric didn't return the affections, he still spent time with Howard, and in time they became close. Howard cares deeply for Cedric, though he tries to keep Cedric at arm's length because he doesn't want to fixate on the fact that he's attracted to him. Given that Cedric wants to be friends, this doesn't always work. Things are awkward ever since Howard took a metaphorical bullet for Ced.

COLONEL SILVER
Howard is jealous of Colonel Silver's coffee.

DIANA LADRIS
Howard and Diana have a relationship of mutual understanding: they both are not only from the FAYZ, but are some of the FAYZ's resident delinquents. Diana frustrates Howard, as she seems immune to his taunts and uncannily attuned to chinks in his armor. That said, he does remember her comforting him as he died, and thus knows that she feels something besides disdain and rivalry for him. He's also keenly aware of her own neuroses, as they mirror his own; her stockpiling at the Warehouse during the robot attack confirmed them.

THE ELEVENTH DOCTOR
Howard isn't sure what to make of the Eleventh Doctor, but he doesn't especially like him. Too alien, too getting in his personal space. He is, however, interested in the TARDIS.

FARSEER ILDRANIATH
Howard resents Ildraniath for existing and taking up Zouichi's attention, but feels glad that Zouichi's found someone he's happy with. He just wishes it wasn't a scary Space Racist.

GABRIEL 'SYLAR' GRAY
Howard has just met Sylar, but has taken a general liking to him, because Sylar is familiar with modern Earth fantasy literature. Howard has been missing his pop culture references, yo.

IAN CHESTERTON
Ian's one of the few adults Howard puts some measure of faith in; he isn't as close to Ian as he is to Barbara, but he believes Ian has good intentions and enjoys spending time with him and teasing him. Ian has a tendency to teach Howard without intending to, and Howard absorbs it like a sponge. Howard does not, however, have great faith in his social problem-solving, although that may change when he learns that Ian was helping Orc after Howard died.

JINX
Jinx generally registers to Howard as 'Diana's annoying friend'. Howard doesn't think very highly of her, although she maddened him back on Stacy with her ability to steal from him so easily. Howard notices how Jinx is easily led by Diana and believes Jinx to be naive and spineless.

KANOE ZOUICHI
Howard considers Zouichi his best friend, even moreso than Orc. Their friendship runs deeper than merely spending time together and exchanging sarcastic quips; he depends on Zouichi and tries to live up to Zouichi's expectations for him, with mixed results. In a way, he sees Zouichi as invulnerable, and a steady support structure he can rely on; that said, he is more than willing to risk his life for Zouichi's sake, as he's done at least three times in the past. While Howard finds it difficult, he has finally accepted that Zouichi cannot be separated from his (possibly suicidal) cause.

KARIS NEEDLETEETH
Karis is one of Howard's closest and first friends on Stacy. They share a misanthropic attitude and inherent lack of morals, which unfortunately sometimes leads to them reinforcing each others' bad habits. Karis was the first person Howard trusted with the fact that he's gay; they've also gotten completely smashed together and had awkward conversations about Karis' mom. Karis was one of the three people comforting Howard as he died. As she was still a zombie at the time, he will be surprised by her newfound living flesh.

VEXANDER SHADIS
Howard has only just met Vexander, and thinks he's uncoordinated and easy to mock.
